I LOVED David Cook's take on "Hello". As he was playing it I turned to Bill and said, "I am SO going on itunes and buying that one!" and viola...Randy agreed with me! (Can I get paid to do this gig?) Still love my Aussie friend although he didn't WOW me and I love Jason Dreadlocks too but I didn't think it was a good as Simon said.
Onto the REAL fun. So Chez sent me a link earlier in the day about David Hernadez and his 'prior job experience' as a stripper and then Simon made a comment too close to the microphone as the song was ending and I thought it was something like, "Can you imagine him stripping to that" or something to the effect with the words "Stripper/Stripping" in the comment. SO Bill and I are bantering back and forth and the phone rings about 2 minutes later and Chez informs me that her hubby and her were watching it over and over again with the wonderful invention called Tivo and they heard something like that too! I'm curious to hear if anyone else heard that? Simon has to watch those comments!!!
oh...and one more thing...would you go on national tv and admit that you had a booger hanging out of your nose during a photo shoot...I mean you're merely a D/C list celebrity at this point....a booger story like that isn't the way to skyrocket you to the top there wierdo!

Still not feeling it this season for some reason.
That David Urchela kid definately can sing, but the sound of his voice to me sounds, like a kiddie. He isn't old enough for his voice to drop yet.
yeah, and he at 17 is Mr. I want to save the world and all the people and stuff...PLEASE! Save the goodie too shoes for another show. He makes me want to vomit - What me? Good? NOOOO...act is getting old

2. David A. Totally agree with you, Bill. David has a beautiful voice, but I still feel like I'm watching the little kid who won Star Search. And he thought Imagine wasn't a sad song??? And to throw that stuff in there about saving the world...GAG.
3. Danny N. This was bad. I'll admit it was the arrangement that was terrible, but it was his choice to do that. Everyone says he's got this great voice, but I'm too distracted by everything else to care. I'm starting to think he's more about the image than the singing.
4. Aussie. I still like him, but still waiting for the "wow" like Simon said.
5. David C. I LOVED this. It was really cool.
6. Jason. I love this song, and I liked his performance. I think he is the only one who is consistently picking the songs that reflect who he is.
7. Danny H. This guy can sing. And lap dance, apparently! But he's good and he should stick around.
8. Chickezie. I thought his voice sounded great on this. Don't know why Simon didn't like it. Although I'm not a big fan of his song choices.
Overall, I think the boys are stronger than the girls this season, by far.
And Marie, your comment about Danny H's booger...maybe he was trying to "snotrocket" his way to the top! HA! Sorry, that was bad.

All the 'cool' studly kids in HS would do that - especially athletes...I played soccer and that was the big thing - snot rockets all over the place!
